The Butch Harmon Vegas Tour is a developmental golf mini tour that launched its inaugural season in June of 2005. This Tour
is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and strives to be the best nationwide developmental tour for anyone with dreams of making it
to the PGA Tour. The Butch Harmon Vegas Tour players will get the opportunity to develop their skills on the finest
championship golf courses Las Vegas has to offer.
In 2008, there will be a Winter Series and Summer Series offered. The Winter Series will consist of a three (3) month tournament schedule comprised of eight (8) 3-day regular season tournaments plus a season ending Match Play Championship. Based on a field of 50 players, the projected regular season tournament purses in each division will be $45,000 and a Match Play Championship purse of $75,000. Our Match Play Championship will consist of the season's top 16 money winners from the season.
The Summer Series will be a three (3) month tournament schedule comprised of ten (10) 3-day regular season tournaments plus a season ending 4-day Tour Championship. Based on a field of 50 players, the projected regular season tournament purses in each division will be $45,000 and a Tour Championship purse of $75,000. Our Tour Championship will consist of the season's top 20 money winners from the Summer Series season.
At the end of the Summer Series season, Butch Harmon will present the Tour Championship division winner with a trophy and a Rolex watch. The 2008 Summer Series leading money winner will receive an all paid entry into the upcoming years PGA Tour Q-School.
